The TubeHunt Tracker extension collects the following data:
- An anonymous installation ID (a locally generated UUID that is not linked to your real identity).
- Your authentication token and email address, only if you sign in to your TubeHunt account through app.tubehunt.io. Without signing in, the extension operates anonymously with limited functionality.
- YouTube channels you visit and the monetization check results (when you use the "Check Monetization" button), which are sent to our servers for product usage statistics.
- Metrics from your own YouTube Studio account (subscribers, views, watch time, monetization progress) — read directly from the YouTube Studio interface while you are logged into your own account, displayed in the extension dashboard, and stored to generate historical trend data.
- We do not collect passwords, payment information, or browsing history outside of YouTube and app.tubehunt.io. Monetization checks use your active YouTube session (cookies) only to access public YouTube pages on your behalf. We never transmit your YouTube credentials or cookies to our servers.
The collected data is used exclusively to: (1) provide the extension's functionality, and (2) generate aggregated product usage statistics. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
